Reading the Weekly and coming to events costs nothing, and always will. The paid tiers buy two specific things: a calendar that keeps track of your attendance, and a social layer where you can see who else is going. Nothing is behind the door itself.

Everything unmarked works today. Anything marked Building is specified and on the roadmap, but not live yet — and the paid tiers don’t open until it is.

Questions worth asking

The small print, in plain English.

Can I pause or cancel?: Yes. Members can pause for up to three months without losing calendar or history. Cancel any time from your account — no email loop, no retention flow.
What is the Monthly Pick?: One curated premium event each month, chosen for depth rather than volume. Circle members see it here first, with an inside-scoop write-up and a 48-hour early RSVP window. Entry is paid separately. The subscription buys the queue, not the seat.
What is a solo-friendliness rating?: A short editorial signal on every event — is this a good one to go to alone? Bar seating? Standing room? Community table? A hard-to-crack couples’ crowd? Reader tier, always visible, no membership needed.
Do organisers see who’s going?: Organisers and the curators see all RSVPs for capacity planning. Member-tier RSVPs are private to everyone else. Circle members see the names of other Circle members going.
Why is Circle capped?: Because the point is a circle, not a crowd. Fifty per region keeps WhatsApp circles legible and premium events genuinely small. When we hit the cap you join the waitlist, ordered by how long you’ve been a Member below.
